Each number means the step. So step 1 is to click
on the Video link.
The 9 Steps To
Perfect English

Step 1) Video Page:
You get a new video on a different topic each month.
This gives you excellent knowledge on a variety of important topics,
such as travelling, health, fashion, shopping and many more.
Your job is to transcribe it (type the words you hear).
You can send your transcription to us so we can check it
for you.
We have put the correct transcription on the page also,
so you can check your work and learn from the words you couldn't hear.
This exercise is PERFECT to improve your listening
comprehension.
But it will also teach you many new words and phrases
because at the bottom of the page, we have typed all the new words,
phrases and idioms for you to help you hear those words and understand
the video more.
And for each word/phrase, we type some examples to help
you understand it more because we both know you learn best from
examples!
This will help you build your vocabulary naturally and
easily because we also give you another useful tip on the page which will
help you remember and use the new vocabulary.
I cannot share that secret tip here, but you will see
it clearly on the page :-)

Step 2) Pronunciation
After you have completed step 1, you are now ready for step 2.
Every video in step 1 will of course contain words and sounds
that are difficult for you to pronounce, so we make audio/video
clips to help you pronounce them correctly.
You can also use the form to request a sound, letter or word
for me to make a pronunciation video clip for you.
How easy is that?
Also, the pronunciation clips stay in the membership, so you
don't have to "hurry" to watch them. We will never take them
away from you.

Step 3) Photo Description
Let's move on to step 3...
This is one of our favourite activities. We both know that
you can speak English. But you have difficulty when it comes
to explaining or describing things in detail, and also expressing
your thoughts and feelings.
This activity fixes that problem for you because each month you
get a new photo to describe.
The photo is related to the Video topic (to keep focus on the
month's theme and keywords), so you can build your vocabulary in
convenient groups, which also helps you remember them also.
The best part about this activity is that you can submit your
description for us to check.
We also describe the photo, so you can "copy" the words and
expressions native English speakers use. And we also explain
the words we use.
Example:
We might use "in the foreground..."
We do not expect you to know
"foreground", so we explain it.
Foreground = The part of the
photo that is usually in focus (the important part of the photo)
and is also usually the bottom half of the photo.
Background = The part of the
photo that is usually not in focus (not the main part of the
photo) and is usually the top half of the photo.
So if we took a photo of you
outside. You would be in the foreground (the focus part),
and the trees behind you are in the background (not the focus part).
This activity will increase your vocabulary so much you will
not believe it. You will be speaking like a native English
speaker very very soon! It's exciting :) |

Step 4) Student Story
We have learned a lot of new words and expressions on the month's
topic. So now we need to start using them or we will forget
them. Let's start practicing with Step 4....
Here is your chance to put all your studies into action. Now
it is time to use all the vocabulary, idioms and phrases you have
learned from the video and photo description steps in a "story".
When I say "story", it can be a story or
dialogue/conversation.
All you need to do is type anything about the month's "topic"
using the keywords you have been learning. That is all!
Oh, and you don't even have to do this step. If it is too
di fficult to do, that is fine.
You can wait to see the results....
The results:
We will correct 1 student story per month.
Again, you will be able to learn from the corrections we make,
and you will find that you make
the same mistakes. So it is almost the same as us correcting
your mistakes in your story.
This is perfect for building your confidence, vocabulary, grammar,
fluency and expressions.
NOTE: The student stor y we use in
the membership with our corrections will be "anonymous" (no one
will know which student's story it is. We understand some
people are shy, so we will protect you :-D)

Step 5) Forum
It's time to have fun now. You have worked
hard.
This is the place to "hang out".
We have so many members active here typing
questions, problems, comments on the monthly topic and much more.
We also have so many activities to help you build
your vocabulary, grammar, native expressions (slang and idioms)
and much much more.
You have to see this to believe it. And you are
free to type questions or participate in activities 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week!

Step 6) Test
You should be almost ready for the next month's topic, so it is
time to test what you have learned this month.
Without a test, how will you know if you are improving or pr ogressing?
Of course we give you the chance to test your skills for each
month 's theme.
The test is focused on what you have learned in the vid eo,
photo description and student story steps.
You will be a master of English very quickly!

Step 7) Chat Friends
Now lets make some friends and have more fun by chatting with
people from all over the world.
The most important step to improving your English is PRACTICE!.
And the best way to practice is to make friends with other
